Rustic Bright Save the Dates

Today I’m thrilled to share one of my favorite invitations I’ve worked on in awhile–a contemporary save-the-weekend for two very close friends of mine, Nick and Zack. There’s something exciting about working with with those close to you and it’s even more serendipitous when those people are also artists! The ceremony will take place on a secluded lake in New Hampshire so the three of us discussed a modern twist on the rustic locale. Now I don’t know if we’ve simply been spending too much time together or what, but it was one of the quickest and easiest kick-offs I’ve had because within minutes it seemed we all had the same vision…and here it is!

Letters N and Z suit each other almost as well as Nick and Zack, themselves. I had so much fun exploring monogram treatments with the combination but ultimately we landed on the above. The mark will be carried through the rest of their collateral on and leading up to their big day.

Squam Lake is known for its peaceful loon inhabitants, so we decided to pay homage to the locals in several point elements carried through the mailer.

And I cannot take credit for this stunning print quality. Luscious Verde certainly delivered with this high definition gallery printing. The photos really don’t do it justice–I half feel as though I could jump in the boat and set sail with them.

More on this soon and have a great week, friends!
